The principles that guide how I work, build products, and try to live.
Technology evolves. AI reshapes industries. Economies fluctuate. Capitalism creates incentives we didn't design. Opportunities are distributed unevenly.
Reality has constraints.
Spending our lives wishing the world were different rarely changes it.
What we can control is how we respond.
Everything I build—and the way I try to live—is shaped by a handful of simple principles.
Follow your energy
Curiosity is a better compass than obligation.
Whenever possible, I pay attention to the projects, conversations and ideas that leave me more energised than when I started.
Energy compounds over time.
Stay aligned with your values
Success means very little if it requires becoming someone you don't want to be.
Living in alignment with your values makes decisions simpler and your direction clearer.
I'd rather build more slowly while staying true to the person I want to become.
Build communities
Communities create opportunities that no individual could create alone.
I've seen strangers become friends, collaborators become business partners, and beginners become mentors simply because someone created a space for people to come together.
That's why I believe in building communities, not just products.
Help others where you can
Knowledge becomes more valuable when it's shared.
If I've learned something that can save someone else weeks or months of frustration, I try to pass it on.
Teaching others is one of the best ways to continue learning yourself.
In practice
These ideas are why I spend my time:
Because a meaningful life isn't built from one big decision.
It's built from thousands of small ones.
